Confessions of an Aesthetician (Part 1)

Caption:

Big event coming up? Your skin prep shouldn’t start the week before.

As an aesthetician, I plan ahead. Depending on my skin goals, that might mean customized facials, gentle peels or microneedling several weeks before the event, then shifting the focus to hydration, barrier support and consistency as the date gets closer.

The goal isn’t to do EVERYTHING before an event. It’s choosing the right treatments at the right time and giving your skin time to respond.

If you have a wedding, vacation, photoshoot or special event coming up this fall, start planning your skin early.
